NOTICE
We have completed our upgrade works on our kitchen and heating system as part of our commitment to a Low Carbon sustainable community. In addition, we have also purchased new tables for the use of all users of the the Meeting House which are much lighter and easier to use and store.
Hemel Hempstead Quakers are very happy to make their premises available to commercial, voluntary and religious groups from the local community.
Our large and airy 17th Century hall can be found in a peaceful, quiet setting in the heart of The Old Town in Hemel Hempstead. It is complemented by two smaller rooms, suitable for break-away groups or more intimate sessions, along with a large garden and a fully equipped kitchen.
The Main Hall can accomodate 50 people in lecture or theatre style and is also used by training groups in a circle setting for 16 to 30 people. The hall can also be used with tables for formal meetings or hearings and is fitted with a loop system for the hard of hearing. A Grand Piano is available for musical rehearsals or concerts by arrangement. Musical groups who use our main hall report that it has excellent accoustics.
The Classroom can accommodate up to 20 people depending upon the seating plan.
The Library is our smaller room, seating up to 12 people in a cosy intimate setting.
